NIAGARA FALLS—The Labor Day holiday on Monday will delay household rubbish and trash collections by one day throughout next week. Modern Disposal Services, which handles garbage and trash pickups for the city, said Monday’s normal collections will be picked up Tuesday.

Ouch. The cost of a holiday flight from Detroit to Orlando is $655 round-trip for the week after Christmas. Thanksgiving round-trips from Detroit to Los Angeles are a depressing $540.
